“I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, 17 and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, 18 so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love.”~ Ephesians 3:16-18 GNT
This is another of Paul’s amazing prayers for those who were lucky enough to be part of the group that he was able to minister to during his time on this planet.
The good news for us today is we still have the benefit of reading and putting into practice the words of Paul because God chose to have them recorded for us through the cannon of the Bible.
Personally, when I read these words I am challenged as a person, and as a pastor to remember to pray with such conviction for those God has placed in my life and that He will bring into my own personal circle of influence throughout the time He has given me on this planet.
So, please know that “IF” you are part of my world then I am praying these words for you this summer and beyond.
I pray that God will give you the power through His Spirit to be STRONG in who you are and who He created you to be!
I pray that you may grow deeper in your knowledge of WHO God is and His plans for your life so that you may have a solid foundation built on the LOVE and GRACE of God for your life!
I pray that through all of life and its rewards and challenges that you will come to embrace the LOVE that God has for you… the LOVE He has shown the world through His Son Jesus Christ!
Hope and pray your day is blessed…

Awesome thoughts. Thanks for sharing Trevor! The most challenging prayers for me are to pray for my enemies--well...to pray that God would bless my enemies. Praying for you too, bro!
ReplyDeleteClarification: Trevor is a friend, not an enemy! Love you bro!
